Last month, New Forest East Conservatives were delighted to readopt Rt Hon Dr Julian Lewis as our Parliamentary candidate for the next General Election - whenever that might be! 
 

At the same meeting, our Chairman, James Hartley-Binns, surprised Julian by naming him as the recipient of the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Commitment to our Association for his long and dedicated service as our MP. 
 

Julian was delighted to receive the award, which is annually presented to a member, councillor or, indeed, MP, who’ve gone the extra mile. 
 

James said, “we have a Member of Parliament who is proven to put decency, respect and duty before personal ambition, which is evident to all. Thank you, Julian, for your hard work and commitment to this Constituency over many years.”
